What is a project?

A project is a piece of planned work that is completed over a predetermined time frame at an expected cost and is intended to achieve a particular aim.

So the size of the job does not determine whether TSL/ATSL treat that job as a project.

If a job is of the nature described, it will be treated as a specific project, small or large.

Preparatory work is vital which includes negotiating with carriers, air and sea, ensuring that correct customs classifications are in place, ensuring that loading and destination delivery is completed correctly.

TSL/ATSL have experience in handling the logistics of specific projects by:

• Arranging correct packing and delivery to carriers at origin
• Airfreight including part charters

Ocean freight including:

• Standard FCL movements.
• Ro/Ro shipments
• Break bulk shipments
• Out of gauge container shipments
• Detailed time flow charts to ensure that the project is being managed as it should be.
• Customs Clearance at destination
• Local delivery at destination, including the use of special vehicles if required.
